PRIMARY STUDENTS RADIATE LOVE DURING SPIRIT WEEK
In a heart-warming display of friendship, enthusiasm and kindness, primary students at Bina Bangsa School PIKP came together to celebrate Spirit Week. From the youngest P1 to the confident P6 students, the entire school radiated love and compassion throughout the week-long event.
In this first-ever Spirit Week, the students, teachers and staff were encouraged to dress up and engage in various activities to foster a sense of community and belongingness.
One significant activity during Spirit Week was the exchange of happy emoticon slips amongst the students. On each slip, the following phrases were written: “You are great! God bless you!” This activity brought a smile to the students’ faces.
Moreover, students from P4-P6 penned a heart-warming letter to all the children of the world. With a collective desire to inspire hope across borders, these young minds crafted a message that underscores the power of hope and compassion. The letters contained wishes of peace, happiness, safety and well-being, good health, kindness and a bright future for all the children of the world.
Meanwhile, the P1 and P2 students had a storytelling activity aimed at developing confidence in oneself and motivating others to be confident as well.
For each class, an informal photoshoot was held which captured the essence of unity and joy. The photoshoot captured the positive and vibrant atmosphere within the school, highlighting the bonds of friendship that transcend classroom walls.
Throughout the week, the school was adorned with colourful banners and decorations bearing messages of love and unity.
The school expresses its appreciation to Ms Maria Celeste Arias, Mr Jerick Jonson Maclang and the entire Student Development Committee for organising such a meaningful event for the students.
