Apple Teachers’ Training

The Apple Teacher’s Workshop on 7th September 2024 at JIS offered an inspiring and hands-on experience for educators, focussing on integrating Apple technology into the classroom. Under George Ananda’s guidance, participants explored interactive lessons using iPads and Macs, diving into creative tools like Keynote, iMovie and GarageBand. Teachers discovered practical, creative ways to use iPads and apps to engage students, streamline lesson plans and enhance digital learning. The workshop sparked new ideas and enthusiasm for innovative teaching methods. A significant part of the training focussed on the integration of Virtual Reality in lessons and coding, with educators introduced to Apple’s “Everyone Can Code” curriculum. Teachers practiced coding basics using Swift Playgrounds, a program that makes learning to code fun and accessible.
