As far as I’am concerned, the most important thing of teaching Chinese as the second language to primary school students who are the low level is triggering their interst in learning Chinese. Based on the characteristics of Chinese,listening and speaking is easier than reading and writing. Therefore, it is better that paying more attention to improve their listening and speaking abilitiy at first.

Set a motiviate system in class is a efficient way to let them willing to open their mouth to speak and listen to what teacher said. In my class, I use APP called Classdojo to motivate students to answer the questions, if students answer correct, he will get one e-badge. He will get a good prize until he got 50 e-badge. If things go on like this, their speaking and listening could be improved.Students like how it works, when they are in Chinese class, they are eager to raise their hand to answer my quentions in Chinese.

As a Chinese language teacher, I sincerely wish them could learn Chinese in a happy way. Learn at first and then practice directly in class, so that their speaking and listening could be improved.
